With new styling, improved suspension, better brakes and more comfortable ergonomics the 2009 Polaris Outlaw 450MXR is ready for the track or trail.

We recently got our hands on a 2009 Kawasaki KFX450R for a day of testing at Mile High Motocross located in So Cal. CT Racing's Allen Knowles came along to give us his expert opinion on what may be the most user friendly machine in the 450cc class.

The Teryx Sport is Kawasaki's answer for the ever growing sport segment of the side by side market. Fuel injection plus a large list of updates have improved the entire Teryx line. Very tunable piggyback reservoir equipped Kayaba shocks take the Sport to the next level of speed and performance. This test was shot at the Boulders ride area located one hour out of Phoenix Arizona.

Yamaha was the first major manufacturer to release a 450cc high performance ATV. For 2009 they became the first to completely redesign their 450 from the ground up. Judging by our two day test ride, it was well worth the wait!

Arctic Cat introduced their 366 back in 2008 and added the DVX300 and 150 utility for 2009. We recently had the chance to put all three machines through a short test cession at Arctic Cat's 2009 new model intro in South Dakota.

The TRV 700 and 1000 are new for 2009. Arctic Cat added a bunch of updates to the TRV700 turning it into a Cruiser model while the TRV 1000 Cruiser is all new from the ground up. Originally released in 1997, the Polaris Scrambler 500 is an all wheel drive sport 4x4 that has remained popular among year round trail riders. Although it has remained mainly unchanged since its inception, the Scrambler still has what it takes to provide days high speed exploration out on the trail.

Our friends at ATV Rider Magazine recently completed one of the nicest Raptor 250 builds we have seen. The Machine turned out to well that Adam Campbell even managed to smoke a few 450s at a local race in California.
