Glann Innovation, Case Saver and Chain slider
Glann Innovation has come out with the coolest, most innovative case saver and front chain slider the world has seen for the Honda 450r. Have you ever thrown a chain just to see it wrap around the front sprocket? Glann Innovation has now fixed that! Not only have they come up with those 2 items, they also have a Rear chain Guide and a rear brake block off that will outperform any other on the market. These products can save you a lot of money in Repairs.
CASE SAVER: This Case Saver follows the stator cover profile, therefore protecting your case. Also, adds support for the shift shaft to protect for damage in case your foot landed on the shifter so hard as to bend the shift shaft damaging the motor to the extent that it leaks oil. This Case Saver is longer, eliminating your chain roller, so the 8mm bolt can be utilized for added support and strength.
SWING ARM CHAIN SLIDE: Offers protection against the chain getting stuck between the front counter sprocket and swing arm, which could break your engine case.
REAR CHAIN GUIDE: Helps guides your chain to keep it in-line with the rear sprocket. Most chains come off because the top of your chain is pulled tight from the front counter and all the slack is on the bottom of the chain. The bottom of the chain may than come off the sprocket and start the “chain reaction” that could possibly break your engine case. This chain guide works with most aftermarket linkages and rotor guards. Some rotor guards use the same mounting bolt needed to mount this chain guide so some triming may need to be done to your rotor guard. ARS, Dirtworks, and Teixeira linkages are the only aftermarket linkages I know that this chain guide won’t work with.
BLOCK OFF PLATE WITH COOLING FINS: This part simply works awesome. Think of it like this when your brake fluid gets hot it expands and has to go somewhere. So it starts to push the caliper piston out. If the brake fluid is hot enough than the piston pushes the brake pad out so far as to drag it against the rotor creating more heat and wearing the brake pad. Have you noticed changing brake pads the inside brake pad the one up against the caliper piston wears twice as fast as the outside pad. In short the proof of it. This part allows for cooling of the brake and fluid. All it needs to do is take just enough heat away so your piston don’t drag the brake pad against the rotor
Notice just some of the differences that help to make our part stand out. First your stock parking brake system has an o-ring for better sealing and so do ours. Second we have a small area around your brake post so if your o-ring leaks your master cylinder will not be depleted of brake fluid. Third our block off plate has enough clearance for brakes with aftermarket pads. Fourth we have plenty of sealing surface on our block off plate for a good tight seal.
Notice, your air box already has clearance for the stock parking brake so there is plenty of room for ours. Only on long travel will you need to double check for clearance.
