On November 3rd, 2026 at EICMA in Milan, CFMOTO showed its intentions to pick up the pieces of a class of ATV competitors have left behind for too long. CFMOTO sees value in the mid-bore twin-cylinder segment and looks ready to bring it back into the fight. In recent years, Can-Am discontinued its Outlander and Renegade 650 models, along with the Outlander 570 twin. Meanwhile, Kawasaki’s Brute Force 750, despite numerous updates, is long in the tooth in the handling and suspension department, as we found in our recent testing. There is still demand for a competitive, updated machine in this mid-bore twin-cylinder segment. CFMOTO looks to pick up what the competition has left behind and resurrect the class. Read on to learn more about what the new C7 Pro has to offer.

CFMOTO C7 PRO Engine and Horsepower

CFMOTO unveiled the CFORCE C7 PRO and C7 PRO TOURING at EICMA, powered by an all-new twin-cylinder engine that’s still in development. CFMOTO France claims more than 67 metric horsepower, or over approximately 66 U.S. horsepower, paired with its OmniDrive CVT. Dual balance shafts are intended to reduce engine vibration.

That claimed output puts the C7 ahead of the discontinued 62-horsepower Can-Am 650 twin and the 49.6-horsepower Kawasaki Brute Force 750, while staying below the roughly 80-horsepower 850 class.

CFMOTO names both a C7 PRO and a C7 PRO TOURING. A single-seat version would be especially interesting to us as a sportier choice for aggressive trail riders and those looking for a 4×4 cross-country race machine.

Chassis and Suspension: What the C6 Could Tell Us

CFMOTO says the C7 follows the same GEN4 philosophy as the C4, C5, and C6. If the C7’s dimensions and suspension travel are in line with or better than the C6 PRO’s, it could bring a much more modern chassis and suspension package to this mid-bore twin-cylinder segment.

The single-seat C6 PRO has a roughly 53-inch wheelbase, is just over 48 inches wide, and offers around 10 inches of suspension travel at both ends. Those numbers are close to the Can-Am Outlander 700’s and, along with the C6’s roughly 12.6 inches of ground clearance, substantially exceed the Brute Force 750’s suspension travel and clearance.

Touring Equipment and U.S. Availability

The C7 PRO TOURING shown in Milan was equipped with a two-person seat and passenger backrest, handguards, and a front winch.

CFMOTO says the engine and specifications are still in development and may change before production. The announcements we checked don’t confirm U.S. availability, pricing, or a launch date.

ATV On Demand’s Take

Over the past couple of years, we’ve heard from a number of viewers who want a more reasonably sized twin-cylinder ATV. With the disappearance of the Can-Am 650 and the lack of development on the Kawasaki Brute Force, we’re strong believers in bringing some new blood into this segment. We think twins in this displacement range offer a great balance of fun, utility, and usable performance. The one-liters simply have more power than anyone can fully use. A machine in this category can still deliver plenty of thrills and get some real work done, with more manageable displacement and horsepower. We’re looking forward to hearing more about the C7, hope it comes to the U.S. market, and look forward to throwing a leg over one as soon as it becomes available.
